Helping local volunteers to make sense of some of the available tools at their disposal to gather an audience for their Festival and Events. This introductory presentation assumes no prior knowledge of Facebook, beyond possibly using Facebook personally.

FACEBOOK TERMINOLOGY (2) Tagging Mentioning a friend or another page in a post or photoby adding their name/page name to your post.Accessed by adding the @ sign before their name, or bytyping their name and allowing FB to bring up therelevant person/page Mentioning other pages creates a post on their wall – sobe wary of too many which might be regarded by theother page as „spamming‟
