  3. 3. What is sky diving? Skydiving is a sport involving a skydiver jumping down from an airplane while it is flying and parachuting to the ground. Skydiving can be done individually and with other people. Training is required to go solo. The jump can also be made from a helicopter or the bottom of a hot air balloon from 4000m or 13,000 ft. Some thrill seekers attempt to skydive without a parachute whilst flying through the air, and instead rely on the small parachutes they have professionals put on them.

For beginners that is the preferred way to acquire "gear", and has two advantages because users can: Try types of parachutes (there are many) to learn which style they prefer, before paying the price for new equipment.

  7. 7. PRECAUTIONS Parachutes-The most basic precautions you should take when skydiving involve your parachute. Before jumping, make sure that the release works well and that you have a second parachute in your pack for backup. Devices-Beginning skydivers may not realize the amount of adrenaline and nerves they will feel while making their first jump. Because of this, they may fail to activate their parachute properly. While skydivers should obviously not jump when physically ill, other conditions that may not seem harmful can prove to be under certain
