He asked for food and permission to stay for the night. nightAfter feeding this grey haired man, peopleasked him to leave the village, the manrefused and stayed Seeing that he could stayed.not be persuaded, the villagers departedwithout him.

When the monster arrived at the village, the man treated him with g , sudden burst of exploding firecrackers. “Nian” was startled by the noise, the flashes of light, and red banners flying about Then he about.
