Can live up to 15 years
Live in the grassland,savanna
30 cm broad
Have large tusks
Females weigh generally lesser than males
Tusks can grow up to 25 cm

Warthog body coats store moisture to keep cool

Warthogs let a germ-picker bird which are
common in the Savanna to eat the germs on
their body.
8. VALUES OF THE WARTHOG
Warthogs are caring as the females always keep
their babies close to them and protect them.
Warthogs are also very responsible because the
males will always protect their mate and baby in
times of attack or crisis.
9. REFLECTIONS(PART 1)
We learnt that many wildlife reserves are
protecting the warthog so that they do not get
extinct.
We should learn from animals as they show
many good values.
We have to do our best to save the animals so
that our future generation can see it.
10. REFLECTION(PART 2)
We must also save the environment to make sure
that other animals can stay in it.
We must also care for our surrounding like other
animals do.
We have also learnt that without animals our
earth will not be as beautiful as it is today and
we must all play our part to save it.
