HOW I DID MY WORKFirst I typed up the normal recipe on wordand read over it to see all the fractions.Then I converted all the fractions in tosomething easy to multiply by 2. After that Ijust lined up all the ingredients from top tobottom and read it like a list that way all Iwould have to do was just read down andchange something like let’s say 2/3 cups ofwater into 1 1/3 cups of water.
RECIPE CUT IN HALFREDUCED RECIPIE½ CAN 15 OUNCE PUMPKIN PUREE2 EGGS½ CUP VEGETABLE OIL1/3 CUP OF WATER1 ½ CUPS WHITE SUGAR1 ¾ ALL PURPOSE FLOUR1 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA¾ TEASPOON SALT½ TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON½ TEASPOON GROUND NUTMEG¼ CLOVES1/8 TEASPOON GROUND GINGER
HOW I DID MY WORK…FIRST LIKE THE OTHER ONE I READTHROUGH ALL THE FRACTIONS BUTTHIS TIME I CHANGED THEM TOSOMETHING EASIER TO DIVIDE BYTWO. SO SOMETHING LIKE 2/3 CUPWATER WOULD BECOME 4/6 CUP OFWATER. THEN I READ IT DOWN LIKE ALIST AND DIVIDED EVERYTHING BYTWO.
