  • 3. We slowly drove, he knew no haste
  • 4. and I had put away my labor

  • 6. We passed the school were children played
  • 7. We passed the fields of gazing grain,
  • 8. We passed before a house that seemed, a swelling of the ground
  • 9. The roof was scarcely visible ,The cornice but a mound.
  • 10. Since then ‘tis centuries; and yet feels shorter than the day
  • 11. I first surmised the horse’ s head, Were toward eternity.
