  • 1. Scratch: Duck ShootIn this game, you have to shoot as many ducks as possiblewithin limited time. You can change the theme if you like,e.g. Alien shoot…Your teacher will show you where you can find the ‘sprites’.RIGHT mouse click on the cat andselect deleteLoad the sky backgroundYou should know how to do this, ifnot, do the other tutorials first!Click on stage, backgrounds,import...You could use a differentbackground or skip this.Click on Control, click down-arrownext to broadcast, click newCall it newGame, click okRepeat, but name gameOver. ok.
  • 2. Click on variables, then make avariableMake TWO variables:1, score2. timerCreate the script as shown (on thestage).Click paint new sprite
  • 3. Draw a targetTry drawing a solid circle, then atransparent circle in the middle. Thetransparent colour is indicated bythe red circle. Use undo if it goeswrong!Make it reasonably small - resize byright-mouse clicking on the sprite,then click resize this sprite - usethe slider.With the target sprite selected, addthe script as shown.
  • 4. Import the game-over spriteCreate a script for the game-oversprite (NB yours might not beSprite2...thats ok).
  • 5. Import parot1-a from Costumes->Animals. Resize it to make itsmallerClick costumes, import, thenlocate the parot1-b (fromcostumes->animals).Click sounds, import, then locatethe gun-shot sound effect (sfx)
