Objectives Through conducting online survey andlocating the advantages, see how people canbenefit from the Fingerprint recognitionSystem. As an innovative technology, is this systemstill has its market value or not?
Introduction of FingerprintRecognition System This is one of the Biometric devices thatis identification or verification of aperson by using biological and physicalcharacteristic such asiris, speech, face, fingerprint, etc.Fingerprint recognition System identifiespeople by using Fingerprint.

Fingerprint sensors An electronic device is used tocapture a digital image of thefingerprint pattern Captured image is called a live scan Live scan is digitally processed tocreate a biometric template
Used fingerprint sensortechnologiesOptical- Involves capturing a digital imageof the print using visible light- Type of sensor：Specializeddigital camera
Ultrasonic- Use of the principles of medicalultrasonography- It uses very high frequency soundwaves to penetrate the epidermal layerof skin- Advantage: create a clean, undamagedepidermal skin and a clean sensingsurface
Capacitance- Utilizes the principles associated withcapacitance in order to form fingerprintimages- Sensor array pixels → one plate of aparallel-plate capacitor；- The dermal layer (which is electricallyconductive) → the other plate；- The non-conductive epidermal layer →dielectric.
Passive capacitance- Principle：To form an image of thefingerprint patterns on the dermal layerof skin- Each sensor pixel is used to measurethe capacitance at that point of the array
Active capacitance- Use a charging cycle to apply a voltageto the skin before measurement takesplace- Advantage: create a clean, undamagedepidermal skin and a clean sensingsurface.- Active capacitance sensors measurethe ridge patterns of the dermal layerlike the ultrasonic method
Patterns of FingerprintRidges Arch: The ridges enter from one side ofthe finger, rise in the center forming anarc, and then exit the other side of thefinger. Loop: The ridges enter from one side ofa finger, form a curve, and then exit onthat same side. Whorl: Ridges form circularly around acentral point on the finger.
ApplicationE-channel (identify you when immigration)Access to car
Access to device(Smartphone)An USB Biometric FingerprintReader Password LockTo protect your computer bypreventing unauthorized accessand encrypting data in thecomputer.
Different kinds ofFingerprint Door LockTo enhance the security ofplaces such as home. can easily add and removepeople that require temporaryadmission to the place.
Advance Technology Touchless or contactless finger imaging isessentially a remote sensing technology usedfor the capture of the ridge-valley pattern withno contact between the skin of the finger andthe sensing area.(Giuseppe Parziale and YiChen, 2009) It is used the camera andLED light to capturefingerprint image.
Reasons that touchless fingerprintrecognition system is better than the touch-based one:Touch-based TouchlessAffected by skin conditionsE.g. Dry skin or Wet skinCapture fingerprint imagesconsistently because it is notaffected by different skinconditions. The fingerprint image will bedifferent due to differentpressure when put our fingeron the sensor.Avoid the fingerprint imagedistortion.

There are almost 20 responds agree thatFingerprint recognition System arereliable, convenient, user-friendly and safeetc. Only a few respond cannot benefit fromthis system. This system brings a great deal of advantagesin our life which can be considered as a greatinnovation.Analysis 4
Conclusion Failure of identify people due to skinconditions or other reasons so touch-less fingerprint recognition system canmake improvement on this situation. Although the tool sometimes cannotidentify people, it is still ahelpful, convenient and reliableinnovation in nowadays.
Conclusion Majority of people use E-channel, itsaves time when immigrate. The tool can highly increase the securityof places and devices. Also, the price ofthe tool is lower while the technology isdeveloped rapidly, it is worth buying.
