  • 2. Meaning of Adolescent:-
    • Adolescence word derive from Latin word ‘Adolescere’ which mean ‘to grow to maturity’. We can also call it ‘Teen Age’. This age covered the age from 12 to 19
  • 3. Definitions of adolescence
    • Stanley’ view “Adolescence is a period of great stress and stain, storm and strife”
    • According to Kuhlen, “Adolescence is a period which is characterised by sexual, occupation and ideological adjustment and striving independence from parents.”

    • Sexual changes.
