  • 5. Narrative – looking in on others lives</li></ul>Editing:<br /><ul><li>Fade outs shows different time and a new story
  • 6. Blurring of image to make it unclear as to what is going to happen
  • 7. Music faded out at the end</li></ul>Mise en scene – we selected a few locations that we’re where teenagers spend most of their time:- park, house and college<br />
  • 8. Sound:<br /><ul><li>Non diegetic sound (background music) is used as subtext
  • 9. Lyrics tell the story and how to make the reader feel showing disequilibrium and conflict.
  • 10. Minor key
  • 11. Audience will recognise background music as they will already be familiar with that genre of music
  • 12. Unthreatening to the audience so they want to watch the new soap
