I made a new layer and went to filter>noise>add noise. This made a spotty texture, I then wanted to blur it to make it loo...
This was it when I added ‘motion blur’, this made it look like actual rain, however it still looked unrealistic
I then went to image>adjustments>levels and put in the following numbers.
I added a ‘twirl’ to soften the rain and to make it look even more realistic.
I then changed the layer option to ‘difference’ to make both the layers blend in and the rain look as if it was coming dow...
This was it after, although now I wanted to erase the rain under the umbrella
I erased the rain under the umbrella and this was the final image,
