A style questions • Worth 2 marks • Only brief answer needed. • Normally just defining a key word or basic idea 3. B style question • Usually you will outline or describe an idea • Use key words • Write 4 or 5 detailed points • Don’t waffle or make up stuff 4. C Style question • You are showing how one idea links to another • To do this use the word BECAUSE e.g. Some Christians are pacifists because Jesus taught non-violence/ some are not pacifists because Christians have a right to defend themselves etc • Write 5 or 6 detailed points • Don’t waffle/ make stuff up 5. D. Style Question • 2 arguments for • 2 arguments against • Your own view – with good reasons • Include RELIGIOUS reasons 6. The ‘extended writing’ question of Religion and science (Cosmology) • The last question is on Religion and Science - it is an extended writing question • Spend at least 30 minutes on this question • Part A is like a normal B question – see above • Part B is like a normal C question – see above • Part C is like a normal D question – see above • Write in proper sentences and paragraphs/ Take care with spelling
