  3. 3. Hence; shouldn’t we develop skills required to succeed in our lives?
  4. 4. Employers look for two types of skills in prospective employees:
  5. 5. 1.Technical Skills (marks in case of fresh candidates) &
  6. 6. 2. Other skills like 1. Honesty, 2. Dedication, 3. Flexibility, 4. Hard working, 5. Team Working, 6. Leadership Qualities, 7. Willing to take initiative, 8. Willing to learn& un-learn, 9. Technical knowledge; etc. ,etc. 10.Willing for additional responsibilities, & above all
  7. 7. Positive Attitude + Communication Skills (verbal & non –verbal) These are two most desirable skills by all employers!
  8. 8. All these skills except Technical Skills are also called SOFT SKILLS or INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
  9. 9. Where is your emphasis? Soft Skill Building/ Technical Skills Building Or Neither?
  10. 10. Unfortunately for most of us answer is NEITHER or only Technical skills building
  11. 11. It is so because of our mistaken view that Technical Skills Or Good Academic Performance determines our success in job/life!
