Four feet thick, 12 feet in diameter, and weighing more than 24 tons, the gray-black basalt stone was sculpted with picture glyphs and symbolic icons to show the calendar dates and, most importantly, the Aztecs' destiny.<br />EMPIRETHE AZTEC<br />
